Refreshing Sage100 Data After Upgrade

Hi,

We're in the process of upgrading from Sage 90 version 4.40 to Sage100.

The upgrade is done and I'm currently testing the new version in a workstation to make sure everything woks before going live.

What is the easiest way to refresh the database data from the current Sage90 to the new install of Sage100?

Actually it is MAS90 to Sage 100 v2014.  The easiest way is to call your reseller. If you are not familiar with what you are doing you could blow everything up. Without knowing what was done in setting things up so you could test it is not easy to give you an answer that will not blow up on you.

Unfortunately reseller is not as available/responsive as I'd like. Hence my post on this forum.

In my post I forgot to mention that Sage100 is running on a separate server. I performed the upgrade with the reseller, so I'm familiar with what was done. I used Robocopy to copy the existing data over to the new server. After that, the reseller ensured that all data, forms, etc was there.

I know there's a way to refresh the data from within Sage100, but I'm not exactly sure where to find that function. That's the answer I'm looking for.

Normally the live company is copied and in the new install the copy company is migrated over. All testing is done on this data. Forms are setup. Security is updated. When things are ready then the live company is migrated over and everything you did with the copy company is repeated with the live company. You then go live.
