I would look to see if any Windows patches/fixes were installed within last few days.

Thanks Louis. That was it. I uninstalled 12 updates from last night and those workstations work fine now.
(Didn't want to do one a time and test to see which one it was)

    Hi all.

We have had a few customers report this issue as well, just today.

Error: "Unable to print <report name>.rpt. A generic error occurred in GDI+" when printing bar code fonts

    The commonalities are:
    1. The form is customized with bar code fonts on the form. (Removing the Bar Code fonts will allow the form to work.).
    2. A very recent Windows Update (last night or a couple of days ago). (Uninstalling the Windows Updates will allow the form to work.) In user environments where some users are affected and others are not, those who did not do automatic Windows Updates were fine.

Sage is currently researching this isue. At this point, we're still not sure which exact Windows Update (or Updates) is causing the problem, or whether this is only limited to a certain brand of bar code fonts.

    Possible Workaround:
Preview the form. Then Print from Preview or Export to PDF and print the PDF.

    Possible Resolution (for now):
Uninstall Microsoft Windows Update KB3078601. (Thanks, Rhino17. This has also been confirmed by others.)

We have experienced the same issue today. The specific update causing the problem is KB3078601. You only need to remove that update to restore print function.

Will Sage have an update released so we don't have to uninstall a Windows critical update to make it work?

Hi, The issue occurs when bar codes have been added to the form and a non-standard font size has been applied. There is no need to uninstall the Windows Update. Open the form using the Crystal designer, locate the Bar Code font added to the RPT. Select a Font Size from the drop down list (Do NOT enter a Font size). All the issues I've seen users have used a bar code font and entered a Font Size of 32. The issue occurs outside of Sage and the Sage supplied Azalea Software Bar Code fonts.
