MAS 200 v4.50.3 installed on Widows 10 - "Wrong version of Crystal Reports installed"

User says that reports were printing  normally on this workstation until today when this error occurred and now cannot print or preview any reports. Has uninstalled and reinstalled MAS client (Autorun - run as administrator) but still gets the error message every time. Sage tech says Win 10 / v4.50 is unsupported and cannot assist.

Anyone encountered this and found a solution?

4.5 and Windows 10? Could be bad news as Tech Support already indicated.

Anything in particular happen at this computer recently? Install of new software, etc.

When you uninstalled, did you tell it to undo all registry entries?

If Crystal is installed on this computer, did you uninstall it too?

    Thanks, Tom.
We did a full uninstall w/restart, and no local Crystal is installed. Other users are running Win 10 with no problems, so far.
I'll check on the recent software question, and also if there was a Windows update.

    Is this Standard or Advanced?

Assuming a 64bit O/S. Browse to the C:\Program Files(x86)\Business Objects\Common\3.5\Bin folder and locate the CRPE32.dll file, then Right Click on it and Choose "Copy". Browse to the C:\Windows\Syswow64 folder. If CRPE32.dll exists, rename it, then Right click anywhere in the folder and choose "Paste". Retry the report.

If that does not work, make sure you are logged onto the workstation as the local Administrator with full rights to the "..\MAS90" directory on the server and everything below. Uninstall the workstation and make sure to say "yes" to all dll and ODBC references in the registry. Check to make sure that the User Account Control (UAC) is all the way down to "Never Notify". When installing, instead of double-clicking the "Wksetup.exe" file (don't select Autorun, use Wksetup.exe), right-click and select the "Run as Administrator" option to install Workstation Setup with Administrator rights.

    Let us know what happens.

    Thanks for this detailed response.
It is a 64-bit system. The user doesn't have Crystal installed on the workstation, it's just the MAS run-time app, so Part A wasn't found.
Followed your suggestion for Part B, but that made no difference and the version error message continues.

Did anyone get this working? I'm seeing that the business objects\common\3.5\bin is not populating with more than 3 times.
