Problems after IP address change

SOLVED

Hi all,

Due to a recent merger we have added multiple new locations, all of which will end up being on one network connected through Site-To-Site VPNs. Our network scheme conflicted with one of the new sites and I was forced to change the IP address of the Sage server along with everything else. Everything in our network was pointed directly by IP address because initially we had numerous DNS issues, so you can imagine that this change broke a lot of stuff.

So far for Sage I have updated all the shortcuts, the sota.ini file in the Sage>Sage 100 ERP Workstation>MAS90>Launcher folder, ODBC, and Paperless Office settings.

Things are basically working, but here is my current issue. When viewing older invoices through AR>Invoice History Inquiry, the paperless office button no longer works. For any invoices created after the IP scheme and PL Settings changes, the paperless office button does work.

In viewing some of the PL data tables through ODBC/Access I can see that there is a PL_JournalPDFLog, PL_PeriodEndPDFLog, and PL_ReportPDFLog that contain a listing of all the created PDFs relevant to the table name. I am assuming that to properly reference the new location and have the paperless office buttons work I need to update the Directory field in these tables to reflect the proper IP address/hostname.

This brings me to my series of questions:

I don't seem to have access to these tables through VI, I am guessing because they seem to be located in MAS_System versus MAS_XXX(Company Code). Is there a way to access them through VI?

If not, is there anyway to mass update these tables? I can get to them through Data File Display and Maintenance and update them there but that would be record by record, not going to happen. As far as I know I can't get write access to those tables through ODBC and we are on the non-SQL version of Sage 100.

Finally, where is the log of the invoices that are in paperless office? I can find a PDFLog table for Journals, Period End, and Reports but Invoices would be considered Forms in PL terms.

I am thinking of putting a host file entry on the server and workstations pointed the old IP address to the new one, we'll see if that helps anything.

Any thoughts or advice are appreciated.

Thank you,

Jonathan K.
