No worries.  I'm just a fan of going for the simple things first that don't take long to check.  Beats spending hours looking at more complex things and then finding the simple solution that would have only taken a minute to check.

And you have applied all product updates?  Both payroll 2.19.2 (released a day or two ago) and product update 6 (also released a day or two ago). 

However, it might be best to install 2.19.1 and 5 as they have been out a little longer.  I have installed on my own system but not clients yet until I know for sure what is in them.

No just updated last week to 2018 and payroll 2.19 - my version says 2.19.  I'm assuming it would show .1 or .2 or whatever is it was something more.  I thought it might be a good idea to get this to work before I did any further product updates.

Yeah.  It's a little annoying that it doesn't show the .1 and .2 in system configuration.

If you do a FILE | RUN  *info it will give you the full version number.

If you are at least up to 2.19.1 and 5, I'm not sure where I would go with this.  I have one client that is using it and has not reported any issues.

Did it give you a payroll job daily transaction register?

no, just the check register which was my first clue that I had no job posting.  Also I'm on version 2.19.1.0 build number 506 so does this mean I'm not on a new enough version??

I would think that 2.19.1 would be ok. 

Did you payroll data entry audit report show job numbers?
