Sage 100 2018 upgrade

I'm installing a test 2018 system for a client.

The client has over 25 companies, and all of them have payroll data.

Question is this...can we set up the earnings and deduction codes in the test system and save the associated files?

Then, when we go live, we will not have to assign tax rules to all of the earnings and deduction codes.  We would convert the data and replace the earnings/deductions files with the saved copies from the test system.

    You should be able to as long as all the information including GL is the same across all companies.  Create two companies, first company create a few earnings and deductions and copy the files from the first company to the second company to verify desired results.
