Can you purge terminated employees in Payroll 2.20.0.0?

Still looking for an answer on this.  Any help is appreciated.

Terminated employees are purged during Payroll Year End Processing,  They are purged only when they have no history.

So you're saying if we retain 4 years of history and if an employee was terminated in 2019, the employee would purge during year-end processing for 2023?
