Social Security Tax incorrect for Emergency Paid Leave

SOLVED

Ran a test with a client this morning and found that the Social Security tax was incorrect for the Paid Leave.  They were paying an employee for 72 Regular hours and 8 EPSLS hours.  They have a Health Insurance CAF plan.  It subtracted the Health insurance form the Regular pay, then calculated the SS tax.  THEN is subtracted the Health Insurance from the EPSLS pay and calculated the tax.  His EPSLS tax ended up being .52 cents.  So it is subtracting Health Ins twice.

Has anyone else run into this???

Thanks

Yes, we found this yesterday afternoon and it has been reported to engineering.  The only workaround we found was to enter the EPSLS hours/wages in a separate check entry than the Regular hours/wages.  It may be necessary in some situations to split the deductions so the earnings are high enough to deduct them and the taxes.

Great!  Will there be a notification when the hot fix is out?  We're installing this like crazy and will need to circle back to these clients.  We have warned all we have installed that if they have a CAF the tax is incorrect and it has to be handled differently.
