Sage 100 2020 and Benefit Mall payroll synchronization

Anyone else successfully have the payroll synchronization work in Sage 100 2020?

Keep getting the message that sync failed. There are two articles in the Knowledgebase about troubleshooting this but neither seems to work.

Looks like Benefit Mall is going to drop payroll services so probably not going to be much value in pursuing this further.
