Bvulliamy have you been able to resolve this issue?

We have a client that has this issue and we have a call scheduled today with Sage.  The client believes that the difference is the CAF plan deduction.  He says the 941 is reflecting wages LESS the CAF deduction.  The Earnings report shows the entire amount. 

Let me be clear, he states the Covid wages on the 941 appear to be less the CAF plan.

The amount we are off is related to Cafeteria plan deductions since that check didn't have enough regular wages to cover the deductions.  Sage reduces the regular wages first for cafeteria plans then the emergency pay second.  the 941 pulls in the information from the employees so the amount was too short.  Sage didn't have a fix but i have been playing with the numbers.  In test company I voided the covid only check and one other check then combined into one check to have enough wages to cover the deductions.

Run the earnings report for the COVID pay codes and the emergency leave report.  The emergency leave report will show you the taxable amount that will be on the 941.

I'm still off by an amount that I'm trying to figure out but it is the exact same as one of the deductions.
