The eBusiness Manager webstore is that beautiful so I'd like to know if it is a good idea to dress the store? Convert it to a modern store with better design?

Or can you guys suggest me what would be the best technology to replace the sage webstore? How can I connect an external webstore with the Sage database? Thanks guys.
