Sage 100 Log-On pop-up isn't the active window when logging in.

This isn't a big issue but an annoying one that, when launching the software, all users must first click to make the screen that just popped up, to make it the active window. Any way to automatically make it active so we can skip that step hundreds of times a day?

Thank you all for the links and advice. I recall speaking with a pretty expert programmer on this subject (of course then she left the company before we could finish the conversation) and she alluded to a registry edit to solve the problem, which is probably what you've described. I'll try it out and let you know how it goes.

IIRC, the problem with changing that registry value to 0 is that it allows any window/application/program to steal focus even if you are in the middle of typing something into a window/application/program.  It may work fine for some users who are only running Sage 100 tasks but if they run other software that periodically displays messages, dialogs, or the application itself, than it could impact the user negatively and then you'll be hearing another complaint.

Exactly.  Imagine running a utility that takes a while to run.  You decide to type an email while waiting.  When the utility finishes it pops up a prompt "Delete all your important data? Y/N", just as you press a "y" composing your email... bye-bye data.

Use that registry edit with caution.
