Memo File Attachment Location

When using the Sales Order Module, attaching a file seems to simply link that file from the original location.

Is it possible for Sage 100 to manage the file location? In other words, Sage 100 copies the file from the user's machine, and places it in a location on the server or a shared resource instead of the user having to manually place the file in a shared location before linking the file.

Is there a script that can be ran to manage this?

    Sage has a utility to relink such files, when you move the files elsewhere, but otherwise you'd need an enhancement for that (like DSD InstaDocs).

    We have some users who are not tech savy, and they are prone to linking from a C:\ location. I would like to eliminate this if I can changing a setting or adding scripting to manage it for the user.

    I don't know if it is possible to override the memo page to put a custom button instead of the default "Find Attachment" button with a custom button, which could call a script.

    I have a lot of windows and programming experience, but I'm new to how Sage can run custom scripts or api calls.
