When you distribute lot or serial items in data entry (I/M transactions, S/O invoice, etc.) they show in a column labeled "Committed".  When you have the S/O flag turned on to allow tier distribution from the sales orders, this column is broken into two.  The commitments from sales order entry go into the SO Commit column and the rest of the data entry commitments show in the Other Commit column.
