If you are retaining Sales Orders/Quote History in the S/O module, you could use the History Orders View as a starting point.  That view will give you the closed/invoiced ones, they will show in the view with a Status of Completed.

Thank you for the feedback.  The Sales Manager wants it in listing form per SO that is why I was trying to use Explore.  Any other ideas?  I am wondering if I will have to run 2 reports and them export them to Excel to add them together.

The Business Insights Explorer - History Orders View will show you current open orders as well as closed/invoiced orders.  Also deleted orders if you have the option set to retain deleted orders in s/o history.
