The company that I work for would like to value inventory at standard cost, but being able to have lot numbers is critical to us as well.

Is it possible that I can have both?

I have a few items set up to value at Standard, and when doing an inventory receipt, it doesn't prompt for the lot number. When I use Lot valuation, we have that tracability.

Both features are important to us.

Also, if it isn't available in Sage (my current understanding), does anyone have a possible 3rd party "add-on" that can help me accomplish this task?
