Software notice 16-C for Sage 300 was sent on March 3, 2016.

What's new

If you use Sage 300c, the following new web screens and features are available:

Web screens are now available in Spanish
More than 100 new web screens for Inventory Control, Order Entry, and Purchase Orders
More than 40 new web screens for General Ledger, Accounts Payable, and Accounts Receivable
New home page widgets to track activity trends, item performance, and salesperson performance
A Software Development Kit (SDK) for web screens is now available for members of the Sage Development Partner Program

Download the update from the Sage Knowledgebase:

Log in to the Sage Knowledgebase as follows:
1. Go to support.na.sage.com.
2. Click Log on in the upper right corner of the page.
3. Enter your Customer Portal Username and Password.
4. Click Log on.

Hi Terry, can you explain the reasoning behind Sage's decision to not include license keys for the webscreens for Sage 300 users? (we use the stand alone version installed on our server, not the Sage 300 c version). The webscreens are provided in the installation file and can be installed but Sage won't give us a license key. That makes no sense to me.

300c is available to subscription customers only.

I realize that. My question is why? Why make it available for me to install and then not give a key?

You can install everything you wish - but you still need to pay to get the key. Look at the Sage 300 install - all the modules are available to install whether you have a key or not.

You have to be a subscription customer.... i.e. pay a monthly subscription to use Sage 300c.
This makes no sense to me either. So customers who have loyally paid their annual maintenance fees for years do not get the benefit of those fees they paid. It's a dumb marketing ploy if you ask me.
