Unable to connect to the database error=100 when trying to dbload SAMSYS/SAMINC

Hi,

I just finish to upgrade a customer from Sage 300 2014 to Sage 300 2018 in a Windows Server 2012/SQL Server 2012.

We just upgrade Sage not the server,it is the same. Before open the real companies to convert I try to create and dbload sample data just to enter there first and check everything was OK. But we get that error.

So after we check a few things with SQL server and everything was OK we proceed with convertion and everything was OK. We run Sage 300 2018 directly from server or from Users PCs (all programs at server so we run workstation setup from those machines).

But if we tried to dbload sample data we always get that error!!!

Any idea?

Check Sage database setup, something is incorrect.

I check database setup and everything was ok same as real companies. Very strange dont make sense. Could be Collation method or something else. Thanks

Or your SQL credentials don't have rights

My customer's IT support team even use 'sa' login and same error. They have other sql login that use with real companies that we use first for sample data but that error so we change to use 'sa'. So I'm guessing that even if we try to DBLoad real companies data to a new company only to check if work will fail. Anyway when doing DBDump not a problem just DBloading but we just tried with Sample data as real companies data already was there and we just convert. This convertion process do a lot of SQL stuff (drop tables,etc) so not sure was just for DBloading we get this problem.
