Sage 300 2018 with Citrix

Hi,

We have a customer running Sage 300 2018 with Windows Server 2012 R2 /SQL Server 2012. All programs at server with workstation setup for clients. All people working great.

They are going to open an office with some new users there and they want to be able to access/run Sage with Citrix or TS.

Any Sage general recommendations in that environment? We have a specialist vendor certificate in Citrix that will help us in all technical details (installation, set up, and so on) but I mean specifically for Sage : we need to install in same Sage box? Or in another one just for Citrix is better? What we need to install in that Citrix box related to Sage applications, just workstation setup there? Or not at all and just to publish .exe installed in Sage server? Please any help will help.

Thank you very much

Put them on the same LAN, and run workstation setup.

Hi Jay. What do you mean? So I just confirm if I understand what you tell.

Anyway IT customer is asking me that they already test with Citrix - not sure what exactly they do - and its very slow (sure they did some wrong as I have several customer and all work great also) and they tell will do this :

"Setup a VM workstation in Monterrey office with AccPac installed, user in Mexico City would connect to the VM to work on AccPac"...does it make sense? Basically I understand that they will connect to a PC here in Mty already running Accpac in this LAN to work on it....like if they enter through Team Viewer, GotoAssist and so on to work so, yes will work right?
