We just upgraded our client from v2014 to v2019 with PU1 installed. This time their server spec is 16GB and 4 core which is more powerful then the old server.

Everything stay the same except that now the application and database are in separate server. PCs are running on Win10.

Old server when they print the OE Invoices it took 2 secs and now when they print it took 20 secs. We tested both the printing in the server and client, same result.

The programs are install locally.

Any help is much appreciated.

When is this 2019 version released in the market ? is that 6.6 version ? 

1. If the workstations had connected to a prior version or server, Carefully remove any old entries directing to the old location of the runtime directory in the Path statement - environment variables

 2. If there is an odbc connection to the old database server in System DSN of the workstation, remove it.

I have the same problem. Upgraded a client from Sage 6.0  to Sage 6.6. The initial login to sage is really slow while trying to connect to the database. the processing speed is alright however report printing is extremely slow.

Please assist.

Regarding no.1, is it same as deleting the Accpac folders from regedit? this i did but not in environment variables.

removed old odbc.

yet when click on Print to Preview, taking 25-30 secs in workstations, but printing almost immediately in the server via rdp.

my server has 96gb RAM, 12 Cores, MS SQL enterprise, gigabit network and sage 300 2021 installed.  

anyone please advise
