We're looking to deploy OpenJRE instead of the Oracle java runtime due to the recent licensing changes and associated costs. The only thing we can find in Sage 300 that needs one at all seems to be the global search function. Has anyone had any experiences (positive or negative) using OpenJRE to support the global search functionality?
