Just a guess, try creating a Dbase ODBC DSN.

Hi Steven, we provide a free CSV / TSV writer package for our EnableTRANS framework. It extracts a list of queries and writes the CSV records with columns based upon what is in the Select statement, to the folder/file names declared. Can be run via a shortcut, or as a Windows Service if you always want up to date files for specific tables. Software and 'SQL To Flat Files' package is free, but you'd probably need an hour from us to set up and describe usage/docs. Its a useful tool to extract any CSV to folders/ftp. You could reprogram the export from VFP to make it the exact format you need using the low level I/O functions.   We've done this with HTML files but I can't remember ever doing for CSV but in all these years we probably have.    We've used it a lot on imports of data that wasn't quit right. 

Hi Jay, I've been working on using low level functions to create the files but did take a look at setting up the Base ODBC DSN. I setup the folder which contains the .dbf files but am unsure what to do next. Do you know of a resource that documents the procedure?
