Where to find "Account Type" and "A/c Type Sub-Group" ?

SOLVED

Good afternoon,

I'd really appreciate it if someone who knows the Sage300 database well could help me on this. If you look at the screenshot below, I'm trying to find the database table where my accounts could possibly map to the ORANGE "Account Type" (ie Asset, Equity, Liability) and YELLOW "A/c Type Sub-group" (eg "Current Assets", "None-Current Assets"). I thought of doing this manually... however as I see it on a sample balance sheet report, it simply must be in the database somewhere...

Could anyone possibly more seasoned than I shed some light on where to find these?

Many thanks in advance.
Michelle

    Hi Michelle

For the Yellow highlight should be refer to Account Group. You can create your own Account Grouping. Every singe Account code need to assign an Account Group (Yellow) and Account Type (Orange) during creation. When designing the financial report you can use either Account Group or Account Code.

Hi Shirlena, thank you for your reply. However - what I am looking for is the actual tables which exist in the back end database. Also, my GROUP value is actually the item level beneath the yellow. To reiterate:

Remaining Question: (Orange) Does anyone know where in the Sage300 database I can find a way to map my accounts to asset/liabilities/equity?

As for the YELLOW... These are a ROLLUP of my groups... oh! I think I just answered my own question. These would be found in the Rollup Groups table. OF which I have nothing in... so its a setup thing. Perfect!
