Reprint of PO already received

SOLVED

Hello,

Is it possible to reprint a PO that is fully received? Tried in Print PO forms, but it doesn't print.

Thanks!

    Hi Eva,

Not sure where to start with this but do these Auditors also ask for the Sales Order confirms?  That's another document that doesn't print out when completed.  There's more money involved on the sales side.

Purchase Orders do NOT create any accounting transactions.  Neither do the Sales Orders.  Both of them can change significantly before or during they're usage.  As an example, a PO might be booked for 5,000 of an item but the supplier only ships 4900 because that's all they have.  In some cases the 100 left over are canceled on the PO.  Some PO's are never used because the company decides to buy it from someone else.

If the auditor wants something then print out the PO receivers.  They are printable afterwards and they DO create an accounting transaction.

You can also suggest that the users print out a PDF of the PO in addition to the form.  PrintBoss would do this automatically but I'm sure you know that.

    Hi Dana,
There are lots of work arounds, PDF's, copies held in emails and I create reprintable PO's etc but I just think it should be a standard option to be able to reprint it.  Note, I understand printing a PO that has had prior receipts shouldn't default to the original because blanket PO's could end up being a disaster but I'm saying it should be an option on the print screen.
