Your sheet isn't in the right format, it's missing the Items sheet and its named range..  Export a new sheet and compare.  And don't use Excel 2000 format, OMG, it's 20 years old! Use 2007/XLSX.

I have it happen sometimes on templates I use all the time where "something" changes and then it does recognize the ITEMS tab.  and you can't just manually rename it.  it can just be a glitch (even though I don't really believe in glitches... )

Only solution is to create new template like you say.  Hasn't happened in a long time for me, but it used to happen a few times here and there.

Next issue.  It's been closed, cleared, reopened, restarted multiple times.  What now?

without seeing your file it's hard to be able to define what the error is.  is this your first time importing into Sage?  There might be some critical field missing.

It's the first time that we are attempting to import inventory items into Sage.  Importing in general, no, we've done other transactions.

I exported the data this morning to create the template and then went through it field by field to try to make sure that all the data points were covered with the correct information on every tab.  Apparently, something is still missing.
