I have successfully upgraded my Sage 300 install from version 2022 PU2  to 2024 PU1. Thus far no problems have been found running it.

On the Database Server, in MS SQL Server Management Studio however, multiple new users were created during the install.

Users with the form of "##S3_LOGIN_someusername##SAGE300VAULT"  The 'someusername' part varies, all of the rest, including the '#'s, remains the same.

The DBAs say that these users have not been accessed, and they would like to delete them.

Does anyone know a) where and why do these users are created?  And b) Can they be safely deleted?
