Hi, I am trying to upgrade from Sage Accpac 5.5 to Sage 2014. Right now, I am trying to upgrade to 5.5 to 5.6A. I was getting the following error message, " You must clear the returns and post bank reconciliation". I found the resolution and did the following: Bank has outstanding returns. You must clear the returns and post bank reconciliation before you can upgrade Bank Services. Bank has entries that are not posted. You must clear the returns and post bank reconciliation before you can upgrade Bank Services After clearing the transactions, I get the following message, "Error. Description: You must create G/L batches, then print and purge the reconcilation posting journals, in order to proceed with upgrading." I checked the GL batches, I do not see any unposted transactions. I am not sure what to do now.

When I do this, it says, "Incorrect Procedure. There are no G/L batches to create."

I saw on the internet that there was a macro I needed to run in Sage Accpac 5.5. Is this true? If so, where could I get a copy?

I'm not aware of any such macros. Just delete all the records in any BKJ tables.
