Sage database log files

What is best practice as it relates to handling large Sage database related SQL log files. I generally move them to a different location. What do you guys generally do as Sage database SQL log files grow extremely large? Is purging a normal option or would that impact negatively on the Sage SQL database?

Set the recovery model to Simple, and you never have to worry about logs again.

Thanks Jay. I have done that before in another scenario but just wanted to hear the approach generally taken by my peers.

There is absolutely no good reason to not set it to Simple. Only big IT shops have the manpower and skills to maintain and control SQL logs, which leaves out 90% of sage clients. The argument I make to all my clients is "If your system crashes at noon, do you want to be able to restore to 11 AM (which requires logs), or is restoring from last night's backup OK". They all choose the latter.
