Hi there,

After upgrading to sage 2016, we are losing the Users and have to enter them manually. Once they are entered the permissions reappear. Is it normal and is there a way to make sure the users upgrade as well?

No, it's not normal at all. You did something wrong when you upgraded.

You installed in a new folder or on a new server, but you did not copy the SITE folder from the original install folder. Users are stored in the Users.ism file in the Site folder. If you did not copy all the files from the Site folder then you will run into problems when you add new users, because users are stored in more than one file and they need to be in sync.
