Running Financial Reporter in Spanish and English have different results.

Sage 300 2018

When the Financial Reporter Balance Sheet is run and the user has their language set to Spanish, the results are different then if the user has English as their language.

I tested using same user but only changing their language. The results do differ.

Are we missing something?

(I'm in-house technical support, not an accountant)

It shouldn't be different.

Yet they are.

It seems to affect certain GL groups. Would language have any limitations or "filters" with GL groups?

Yes, if they're spelled differently than the FR spec's wildcards.

Thought you were on to something but the GL groups are identical under spanish and english.

Found it! The ACCTGRPID was using the name of the group, which apparently works fine in English but not Spanish (even though it WAS the same name). When I changed the ACCTGRPID to be the actual NUMBER of the group, it worked fine for both languages.
