box 28 cpp exempt not showing x even though cpp not a tax on employee

i have a few employees that have chosen to be cpp exempt on account of turning 65 and filing a cpt30 form. the x is missing in box 28 on their t4 for some employees and there for others

Check the employees setup for taxes. The ones that have the 'exempt', do they have CPP in their setup? The ones that do not have the 'exempt', do they have CPP in the setup??

I have about 15 employees who are either 70 or are between 65 and 70 and have chosen not to have cpp withdrawn. All of these people do not have CPP in the tax tab of employee info. some of them get a check in box 28 and some don't. whereelse can I check
