Can't Create control: {cb69722c-30ba-443d-88dc-1c3339680c53}

A user gets this error for the past two days when trying to open anything in Sage 300 ERP.

Uninstalled and reinstalled, ran the regacc as administrator and opened Sage as Admin. Everything would work fine for the day but then the next day same thing would happen.

Noticed that Avast anti-virus was installed on the workstation would this be causing the issue?

I created an exception so the anti-virus will not scan Sage Accpac folder,  hoping this will solve it for good as the client is becoming very annoyed.

Has anybody seen this before?

    One user?  Format C:, or give them a new PC, it's corrupted.

    Yes it is just happening for one user and her workstation acts as the server. Her workstation crashed recently and their IT got a new power source for the pc, since that they have been receiving the error message :"can't create control......."

    An unistall/reinstall or a repair and running the regacc again solves the problem but it is not cost effective for the client who has to call everyday.

    Thought perhaps it was the Avast anti-virus sweeping some files, which has happened to other clients before who also have the anti-virus and Sage 300 installed.

    Your suggestion would be a new workstation instead?
