Sage 2017 PU2 Emailing Statements with new SMTP setting using Office 365

We recently upgraded our client to Sage 300 2017 with PU2 and have been using the new STMP email option now available. The general day to day sending of orders, invoices, and purchase orders has been working without any issues, however when it comes to running statements we are having problems.

The maximum we have been able to email at a time is approx. 20 and none of the attachments exceed the Office 365 limit. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

One of our clients recently had the same issue. The problem was an invalid email address in one of the customer setups. When Sage 300 came across it, processing of statements simply stopped.

Thanks for that Jim. Any rogue emails have been sorted, however we still have issues sending anymore than about 20. This is random as sometimes it will and sometimes it won't and we get the failed email message again.

We've run into issues with clients running Office 365, it seems like some kind of traffic volume limit - although 20 is a trickle.
We solved these problems by going to a service like SendGrid www.sendgrid.com, this also gives you more insight into emails, like how many have been viewed etc.
