Error adding application to Application table

Hello!

We just upgraded a customer from Sage 300 2014 to Sage 2018 with the brand new PU1. During the Activation Process, when we try to activate any of Account code change, Item number change, AR Customer number change or AP Vendor number change, we get that error: 'Error adding application to Application table'. We are log in as Administrator. Everything else seems to work normally.

In the last few weeks we've been upgrading several customer to 2018 and never had this error, so we think that the problem is related to PU1.

We've encountered the same thing with PU1. Must be something with this update.

I ran into the same problem so I used FixIt to remove the old version and was able to activate successfully.

OK! So probably, just by going into CSAPP to remove the old records should correct the situation?

I'll try that.

Ok! It worked!

We removed the old records in CSAPP and the activation worked. By the way I'm still waiting for Sage support for an answer on this. Hopefully, they will correct the PU1.

hi, i am having the same issue, using Sage 2018 with PU1, getting this error in one database, i have tried in new database and it is working fine, tried the same data on another computer / server and having the same issue.

1. Don't add any of those 4 features when installing the Sage v2018 for the first time;
2. Load to upgrade, and activate the modules as usual;
3. Add the feature of change;
4. Activate the feature of change.
