Order Entry Transaction: Posting Not responding

A few times I need to restart the server to fix the "Not responding" issue when posting order entry transaction. Is there any other way to fix the issue that I don't need to restart the server? The client Operating system is WIndows 7 and Windows 12 R2 is the server.

ISSUE: the window will stop responding after posting, it just hangs and if you forced quit an error will pop "Sage 300 ERP UI Container has stopped responding".

How long do you leave it for? Quite often the UI reports that it is not responding, but the program is still working in the background?

We leave it for 30 minutes or longer, we even tried restarting the client PC but no effect only after restarting the server then it will work. I find it unusual that restarting the server is the solution as it happens weekly, there could be another solution for this. By the way the issues affect to all users working on O/E, other transactions are working just fine.

Maybe there is a SQL deadlock on an OE related table. The next time it happens, check for deadlocks and look at the SQL activity monitor. You might have to do a little research to know that query to run to check for deadlocks. For instance:
