After upgrading client to 2018 users keep complaining of slow system.
the following have already been tried with limited effect
1. only one path statement using DNS name
2. Increased cpu to 8 core xion 3.1 processors (both app and DB server)
3. Increased memory to 32Gb on all servers(28Gb dedicated to SQL on DB server)
4. Changed all workstations to 1Gb network connections
5. Change costing between day end and posting
6. Excluded Sage from Antivirus
7. tested on sample data with same result
Process of an invoice takes
a. 4minutes on server directly
b. 5 minutes on terminal server
c. 5 minutes on workstation
d. 8 minutes on web screens
Sage spread across 3 servers (APP, DB ,Terminal server/Webserver)
all servers running server 2012 fully updated
DB server MSSQL 2016

all on VM servers but different host servers
all 3 have 8core zion processors
