Sage 300 Web Screens getting hanged while posting transactions

Hi,

Sage 300 Web Screens getting hanged while posting transactions and some times it is taking more than 30 minutes and still not able to process the transactions and remains on posting transactions.

Secondly, when tried to post from another workstation it is working fine. the customer is using VPN connectivity to the server. the Sage is locally installed on workstation machines with ODBC connection to the server.

Why not with web screens? I would have thought this the perfect scenario.

OK, then if your web screens are that slow, then tell your Sage consultant it's not installed properly.

In current situation what do you suggest to use sage 300. Nobody is ready to give RDP connection to the server. The only way is through VPN.

There is no separate for webscreens installation as it is automatically installing with desktop version. Any suggestions?

I have hundreds of clients, and NONE of them use Sage desktop over a VPN, because I won't let them. RDP or Citrix is the only way. Web screens are a decent alternative, but it sounds like your installation needs work if the performance is that bad.

Do they have any workstations still at the office with Sage 300 installed on them that people could RDP to?
