Both of those are good tools, as are Orchid's Report Runner with Process Scheduler and Technisoft's Report Manager.

All of those products handle Google mail just fine.

if you feel that you require extended evaluation as to whether to run/send a given statement, who to send it to, and a UI for ad-hoc sending or Service, and/or full html email templating, … our EnableTRANS framework can deliver this, with logging and resend control. Its a bit more project-based but quite capable. Cheers
