What will be the effects of installing Sage 300 workstation on Sage 300 server? 

One of our client have accidentially installed sage 300 workstation on Sage server (S2) itself, but workstation pointing to different Sage server (S1) on same network. I found users are able to work as 'Database Setup' configured correctly. In fact the new server S2 meant to taking off load from older server S1, and currently having same set of users.

Both servers in production at the moment. My question is how this effect to users when they are restricted access exclusively one server?
