Accounts Rec - Balance Sheet and AR Report Don't Balance

What reports can we used to drill down and identify why there is a difference between our general ledger AR account and the balance shown in the AR Aging report?

We have several months that are balanced - and then we will see a difference...

You can use the A/R Reconciliation toolset of SYSTRONICS ToolPac that will help you easily to identify transactions causing the difference of balances between A/R and G/L.

There are no special reports for this. You've identified the last month that they balanced, now you have to find what entry/entries caused the difference. Usual cause is that someone made an entry in the GL to the AR control account.
