Sage 300 Workstation Setup Feature Transfer Error

SOLVED

I've taken over as the IT for a small organization. They have Sage 300 setup and running on a client server setup. I'm attempting to setup a new computer as a workstation and have been following the instructions.

I've gone to the shared folder where we have the program files and run the wssetup/setup.exe, if I run it as administrator nothing happens so I just open and enter the admin password when asked as it goes.

First I get a message of Feature Transfer error that it can't access C:/windows/crystal

I got around this by copying that folder from the server computer to the workstation, same thing again for c:/program files (x86)/sap businessobjects

and again that worked but now it's saying feature transfer error for 'cr_2011_files' and doesn't give a directory so my work around here doesn't work.

How can I resolve these errors entirely and get it setup?

I've confirmed that I'm using the proper program and shared data directories

I've also tried running wssetup/setup.exe locally and from the network.

I managed to resolve it actually, I was going at it backwards thinking it wanted to copy those files instead of create them.  'run as administrator' didn't work, the program would just disappear. installing normally it would prompt me to put in the admin password a couple times so I figured that was covered. The answer? just actually log into the admin account and install it. worked fine
