Productupdate InstallShield wizard | unexpected / unusual behavior

While installing a product update for Sage 300 2021, I had clicked Finish on the final wizard screen and noticed a Sage installer (InstallShield) icon still on the taskbar. Hovering over it, I could see a "preview" of the final wizard screen (with Finish button). Eventually, looking in Task Manager, I noticed this:

Apparently the product update automatically runs RegAcc. This is something I'm accustomed to doing manually post-installation. Even after increasing RegAcc process priority to real time, this took a long time to finish. I rarely saw the process peak above 1%. That I couldn't restore the installation window at this step, before I noticed this in Task Manager, I assumed that the installation process hadn't completed gracefully and would need to be forcefully closed. If this hasn't already been changed in current version installation processes, please consider changing this in future updates.
