There have been improvements with respect to setting up the vault and store DBs in 2023 PU4 and PU5 as well as V2024 brought back the "password never expires" option for the Administrative Services - Users so perhaps that will help make your decisions.. As for 3rdParty products, most of the endorsed solutions have already made their code changes to integrate with the security changes but you may want to consult the 3rdParty developer to see if they require an update to be installed as well.
