  • Hi  I'm not familiar with this error but try this:

    1. Ensure all other users are logged out.
    2. Log in as Admin and open Administrative Services.
    3. Open Data Activation.
    4. See if you can tick on Sales Analysis and click Activate.

Do you have Sage 300 2023 or version 2024 installed?  If you have version 2023 it appears you may have installed the 2024 version of Sales Analysis not one compatible with version 2023.  You will need to uninstall that version and try installing a 2023 compatible version of Sales Analysis.  If you have a 2023 compatible version, perhaps you need a newer service pack for 2023 if not on the latest.  If you have version 2024 installed, let me know and I'll think about it.

Essentially I don't know much about Sales Analysis, its not my strong suit so hopefully someone else will chime in.   can you help Raising hand‍♂️?  Good luck!

    Hi,

We have never installed 2023. It is a straight v2017 to v2024. SA has already been activated.

tried to change dbVersion in UXOPT table from 70A to 71A, now we can open Retrieve Details, but when click on "proceed", we get this:

Whoa!  Before you manually tried to upgrade the data by changing it to 71A (which will only work if the data structure is 100% identical between versions), did you try and upgrade it via Administrative Services -> Data Activation?  Is this sample data or production client data?

    Hi Digitmasters,

We Escalated this error to Development from another support ticket that was similar to the one you're working with.. I would suggest in your case, not to modify the tables as this could create unforeseen issue with your data..

I would suggest restoring the database backup and wait for Development's response on the issue..

If your database is not too large, can you contact Customer Support and open a Support and we may ask for SQL Backups of the main database and the uni database to test any potential fix to this issue..

If I get any response from development on this issue, I will post in this chat any proposed solution.

Hi, It is in a TEST environment. Production data is intact.

SA is already activated; Data Activation table is empty.

    database is about 6GB.

We opened a ticket with Sage last week, a few days later, it was "elevated" to level 2 support, then we have been waiting, and waiting, and waiting.

Out of desperation, we reached out for support/help from this forum.

    Thanks guys.
