1. Click on "Edit Profile" at the top of the page.

2. Click on the "Site Options" tab in your profile.

3. Go to the third item in the list - "Content Editor". 

4. From the dropdown menu for "Content Editor", pick "Plain Text". 

5. Click save at the bottom of the screen.

Your posts will now be visible. 

Has anyone resolved this issue?

We are getting the same error on Sage 300 ERP 2014.  We have noticed that the issue occurs after opening a company in Portal.  We are even restarting the PC after opening the Portal, but still the Data Activation screen gives the errors and we are not able to activate new modules on the company.

Here are a few possible causes of this issue:

1. If it only happens to new companies, it may be a bad system database or;

2. If other UIs are getting the invalid view error, an incorrect path for RUNTIME folder may be the issue. Check the path or;

3. Missing files in AS62A folder or AccpacAS5002.ocx may have not registered properly. But This may also happen to other companies not just new ones.Run CMD as Admin and run REGACC (this registers all components)

Had the same problem, had to turn off the Sage Tomcat service

I am receiving the same error

"Error occurred when opening view AS0035

View 'AS0035' is not a valid View ID.

Error occurred when activating Sage Accpac Data Source"

When trying to activate modules in 5.6 from a 5.5 db.  I have tried all the steps listed above with no luck.  Any other suggestions?  

Try close Accpac then right-click the Accpac icon and select Run As Administror

No luck running as ADMIN.

Look, I've been running this product since the last century.

Restore _everything_ from backup and start over.  You skipped a step or ignored an error message.

Sage support states that the ASACTLOG table should be added to the db when doing a dbload to 5.6 from a dbdump of 5.5.  However this is not the case.  When these steps are taken and we open the company in 5.6 we get the message Program file Problem Administrative Service Programs are not compatible with system data.  Which I know means the CSAPP tables are still showing 55A but support states that these tables should update during the 55dump and 56load.

I have no idea why Sage support said that.  I've done many dozens if not hundreds of upgrades and have never once played with ASACTLOG.  

And, that error definitely does not mean the CSAPP fields are incorrectly still showing 55A. As you dbload to 56, the data is not changed. Only when you open it for the first time is it updated.

Not without seeing your data. In my world this error is caused by opening data in a prior version, i.e., CSAPP says 6.0, and you're on 5.6.  Or this may be this is one of those corrupted installs where the System and Data ODBCs got crossed up.  Compare your CSAPP to a known good one.  Rvspy may help.

Upon opening the company in 56A  the CSAPP still says 55A after dumping from 55 and loading to 56 do you suggest manually changing the CSAPP tables to 56A or is that a big no no?

Of course it's a no-no.  Did you compare your CSAPP to a good one?

The only good CSAPP i have access to is the one from 55A.  That database has been dbdumped and then loaded to a 56 test environment which will not load due to the  Program file Problem Administrative Service Programs are not compatible with system data message.

I just looked at your postings on this forum, you've been having these problems for months.  You need to pay some money and have a certified consultant help you.

Hi, I had same issue with sage 300 ERP 2012 and I manage to resolve this by:

1. Open Sage 

2. Right click and exit the sign on manager process/sessions on the botton right in the taskbar

3. Run data activation again in Sage 

All working fine until we install Sage 300 2021 (and 2022). Tested existing and new and sample company SAMLTD. Tried the signon manager exit. Still not working.

Multi-Application Activation Open View failed due to insufficient memory. Exit from one or more applications and retry.

Your Sage installation is corrupt.  Make sure you don't have different versions of the RUNTIME folder in your PATH. 

Thanks, Jay. I deleted the programs and shared folders and reinstalled. A lot of work but now it works.
