Stop using Pervasive, it's dead technology.  Use MSSQL.

Some people still like it.  Most professional Accpac consultants don't.

The UT error means you are missing the payroll tax updates (UT) program files. Reinstall the latest payroll tax updates.

Did you dump/load your database or move it to a new server?

However, still getting the same message with Sales Inquiry

Cannot start Object

This happens with the Sample Data as well.

Well there's the problem, you are missing the UX data.

By the way I am getting the same message in Ops Inquiry Set Up too. This is while working on the Sample Company as well.

I guess you did a dump and load.

The dump/load does not include the data for those modules, so you run into this problem.

The simple solution is to edit CSAPP and delete the UX record and the Ops Inquiry record (U?). That takes care of the errors when you open the database. Activate those 2 modules again and the problem should be resolved.

Follow my steps outlined above, that solves it. Or copy the UNI databases from the old server to the new server.
