Continuous Manufacturing Process

Hi, Does any one ever use Accpac + manufacturing module like Autosimply to cover customer with continuous manufacturing process. They are doing oil refinery . Could you share on how to handle the process in the manufacturing to calculate the usage and production based on daily report? Thanks

I doubt it because refining is more of a disassembly process than taking multiple parts and creating one finished part.

Do they always achieve the same yield from a barrel of oil?

If they do then you might be able to makea process manufacturing software work.

Yes, it's actually more on disassembly comparing to assembly process. Yield may have some difference but they could use some standard yield value for it. Any brand of software that you can recommend to handle this in sage 300? Thanks
