Workstation setup

SOLVED

This sounds like a dumb question, but I'll ask anyway.

I've upgraded a customer from Sage 300 ERP 2012 to Sage 300 ERP 2014.  Do I really have to re-run workstation setup (and then regacc) on each of the clients?  Why?  I always do, but...

Thanks.

Yes absolutely. But first uninstall the old workstation setup and then run the new one.

Why uninstall first you ask.... how else will the old junk be removed before the new junk is installed?

Take the old Crystal runtime files for example, 2012 installed some very questionable CR runtime files (they worked perfectly right?) and if you do not uninstall then these will not be replaced when you run the 2014 workstation setup and then you get weird printing problems and wonder why....

I'm the sucker who has to go around fixing the mess created by others, that's how I know.
