We are using the Hospital Information System integrated with Sage Accpac 6.0 which is from one of Sage partners   for the past five years.

From the day of installation we are having the slow issues which the partners are not able to solve.

Initially we had the servers hosted in the VMware VM environment, Partner asked us remove from VM environment and place it physical or standalone.

We have the database(MSSQL) on SAN.

From the user end they are not able to operate at the regular speed. Which is brought to the notice of vendor, but they are unable to solve.

We have the storage hard disk at the speed of 7200rpm, is this ok, does the speed of hard disk matters for the slow issue (This is raised by the partner). 

Request you to please let us know if there are any recommended ways (steps) to diagnose and solve the issue of slow performance.
