Custom report

Customer is running Sage 300 2014, Update 2.  They also use GIMS.  We customized a GIMS report for them a while back and it worked fine for all users until the upgrade. Part of the customization is that we added a criteria for Style - and Style is defined by a segment in the Item Number.  When running this report from any workstation other than one, the user is prompted to enter a range of style numbers.

On one workstation however, the criteria box does not allow for a range, but only for 1 style number.   To further complicate matters, every once in a while, when the report is run from this offending workstation, it runs as it should.  then the next time we try to run it, the issue is back.  Doesn't appear to matter how we are logged into Sage 300.

I have never seen anything like this. I don't think it's GIMS related, I think it is a Crystal issue, but not sure what.
